Worth a trip to Gainesville, every time! This one trumps the one we had in Tampa with its welcoming sports bar, eating area, and billiards, but still has the same flavourful explosion of melty cheese, memorably fresh tomato sauce, and perfectly baked pizza dough that underlines so many delights. The pepperoni rolls are everything you never knew you wanted in hotpockets, and their subs, pizza, and cheesy breadsticks ("pokeystix") won't let you down with their variety of mouth-watering options! If my paths take me anywhere near north-central Florida, you can be sure I'm GPS-ing my path thru Gumby's!
Made this stop as part of my daughter's birthday weekend. Was not busy at all, which was surprising to me as imho this is the best pizza joint in Florida. Stoner Pie, Cluck You Pizza, Pokey Sticks, garlic Parm fries, ice cold beer and a great atmosphere made for a phenomenal meal!
Omg it's so good! Service was good too. Their ranch dressing goes so well with the bacon cheese fries! The small fries was huge! That chicken parmesan pizza was so good! Totally worth it!

You'll have many options. We asked locals where to shoot Pool late night, and Gumby's is a great hangout for this. We were pleasantly surprised! With a terrific, attentive bar staff, cool clientele of locals, and reasonably-priced, good food, Gumby's grabbed our attention as a Locals Hangout which backs up the hype.
We love Gumby's. The Pizza and marinara are fantastic. The bartender Laura is AWESOME. Wish she was there every evening.
Pizza places in Gainesville have a tendency to make their sauce overly sweet. Gumby's does not do this. Good pizza with generous portions that's perfect for dinner or lunch. Wide variety of toppings and sauces.
Great pizza , Amazing bacon and cheese fries, the best Parmesan Garlic wings, and Thai Chili wings. The prices are good. There is a bar and pool and big screen with sports...this is the place to be during a game...pizza and pitcher of beer for 19.99
